The A315, also known as the “Nordic Sportsman” from BAIC was a major highlight of the Changchun Auto Show. The A315 is the second, innovative model that was derived from and succeeded the Nordic A5.

Based on the concept of integrated and collaborative innovation, BAIC Group has been at the forefront of creating new energy cars since 2009. In 2013, BAIC’s new energy cars reached the first position in the domestic market with a 25.55 percent market share.

At the same time, BAIC has been fully aware of the importance of customer services. According to BAIC’s chairman, Mr. Xu Heyi, service and innovation form the soul of the automotive business. “The automotive industry requires a new way of thinking which is similar to the internet,” Xu emphasized. “User experience is the core. Hence customer service becomes a starting point for the survival and development of automotive enterprises. By focusing on client services, we will be able to create value for the enterprise and to realize the transformation from a manufacturing to service-oriented mode. China’s automotive industry must achieve the four goals of modernization: large-scale production, high-end quality standards, low-carbon emissions and a service-oriented approach. To improve the capabilities of innovation and competitiveness is the right path to sustainable development of China’s auto industry.” He added, “I believe BAIC is currently standing at a new historical starting point. After the structural adjustments and upgrading of China’s automotive industry, BAIC will become a new international leader of the automotive industry.”
